Hi, I’m Ines!
I am a teen home chef/baker who is a little obsessed with being in the kitchen. I have been in the kitchen since before I could walk! I would make pancakes with my family every weekend and often helped with cooking tasks. Soon I was cooking and baking on my own and I haven’t stopped since! Even at six years old I had dreams of writing my own cookbook. (See some of my younger self’s ‘recipes’ in the photos below!) I learned most of my cooking skills from my parents and cooking shows, and I attended a baking and cooking summer intensive camp for two years in a row. Whenever I am developing new recipes I do a lot of research to understand the purpose of each ingredient. I find this especially important for vegan food. I am not a vegan but I love the fact that plant-based foods can taste even better than their traditional counterparts. My cooking is simple and creative, using ingredients and flavors in unexpected ways. I also love taking classics, like biscuits or chocolate chip cookies, and making them my own. I am a perfectionist so if any recipe is not up to my standards I will keep developing it until it is. My recipes are tested and sampled by family and friends, my favorite people to cook for!
Here are some fun facts about me:
I LOVE ice cream but I don’t like raisins. I have 2 dogs, a cat, a bunny, and 4 chickens! (Yeah I am an animal lover)
